The Technological Opportunity Lab (techopportunity.org) provides research, data, and software to help accelerate the translation of science with the potential to improve human well-being.
Our research employs computational methods, including machine learning and generative AI, to identify scientists and ideas at the forefront of the next major commercial breakthroughs. We also conduct field experiments to study interventions that address bottlenecks in this process.
Our mission
